Our mission is to help create 100 new community powered native forests in Kerry by 2030.

We want to build local forests; places where we can care for and protect our native wildlife; places where we can each contribute, celebrate, recuperate and recover; community places…

How?

  • Our volunteers gather seeds from the hedgerows and forests of Kerry.

  • We take these seeds, process them and grow saplings in our outdoor beds and polytunnels.

  • We share these saplings at low cost (or for free) back to our neighbours in Kerry

  • We help demystify and navigate the grant process to avail of governmental support where appropriate.

  • We share all our learnings, tools and information with anyone that needs help and all for free

  • We support friends and neighbours coming together to collectively plant trees, establish forests and restore hedgerows on previously neglected or forgotten land.

  • We connect a community of like minded people to help and lend a hand.

  • We roll up our sleeves and help!
